About the course

Fed up with being told you're weak, or just need more willpower to cut back on drinking? This course helps you understand why your drinking habits aren’t all your fault. You’ll learn how ADHD affects your decision-making, motivation, and craving patterns — and what you can actually do about it. We use a mix of behavioural science, CBT strategies, lived experience, and ADHD-specific tools. You’ll get structured lessons, colour-coded phases, quizzes, reflection journals, and zero fluff. It’s all designed with fast minds in mind — minimal overload, practical tools, and clear outcomes.

Meet the author - Alastair

After 30+ years in the wine world and sometimes letting the autopilot take control of my drinking habits, I decided to do something about it once and for all. As if the minefield of conflicting information about alcohol moderation was difficult enough, I also discovered that I have ADHD - which went a long way to explain my relationship with alcohol. After studying the science and the psychology behind these complex issues (let's call it an extended hyperfocus!), I not only reset my own habits but started helping some friends and colleagues who had noticed my transformation.  Along the way I also picked up a number of coaching qualifications , and established Alcohol Reset Coach. Our goal is to help others find an alternative path to the all-or-nothing culture that surrounds alcohol education. If someone with my background and easy access to amazing bottles can do it, then anyone can!
